My first roll job of the blunt

Post by Gorecore »

After reading BG's excellent tutorial for rolling the perfect blunt, I thought I'd try my hand at it. I took a couple pics to capture my progress.

My ingredients:

- One tipped Captain Black cherry (all I had)
-Lots of weed
-A knife for cutting the cigarello

Image

I busted up the weed...which turned out to be more than I needed. So that equalled another joint. Then I licked one side up and down a lot. I didn't like to lick the paper...so I mostly kissed and drooled on it. Then I slit the cigar like filleting a fish, then dumped out its aromatic innards.

I then dumped...anyhow, I followed BG's instructions and came up with this:

Then I went outside and smoked it and ended up with this:

I was quite surprised that the blunt stayed together! I always thought they'd fall apart mid-way through smoking it.

Yeah, I had to cut the filter off, so that made the end I smoked from really ratty lookin. I was going to shove a roach inside but decided against it.

It smoked really nice. Tasted pretty good too. Def tasted the cherry. Mmmm...might pick up a pack of white owls or something to do this again, and again, and again. Kind of expensive to do tho. At least it is here. Either $1.00 for 100 papers, or $5.00 for like 4 blunts.

Well smoke a blunt everytime you pick up and then with the rest of the weed use joints.

Good rolling job bro, I'd hit it. Good to hear that ive encouraged people to get into my favorite way of smoking.

I've never heard of a Captain Black cherry, Looks similar to like a black and mild though. Ive never rolled anything that had a tip on it, Oddly enough.

Did you do a weed/tobbaco mix? Or did them side by side for comparison?

You look blazed after smoking it.

Yeah, It is odd how blunts do stick together, But if you get it to seal good it'll stay together better then a joint will.

I love the way blunts smoke, Real smooth, Very tasty aswell.

Yeah, Pick up a pack of White Outs, Very good brand. I reccomend peach white outs. They're delicious. You can get ciggirallo 5 packs of white owls like i do my swishers.

Your lucky on prices on papers, I spend about $2.00 on 32 pack of papers.

But then i pay about $2.50-$3.00 on a 5 pack of Swisher Sweets.

Obviouslly can see whats in demand in my hood.

Again, Good to see another person sharnig the love of the almighty "blizzle".

Actually, I rolled 100% pure weed. I roll my joints with a little bit of tobacco, but not that blunt.

The tobacco on the side was what I had emptied from the Captain Black.

I'm hoping I didn't just have beginners luck with my first roll of a blunt. I'm definately going to do that again. Might wait until Friday tho and make it more of a 'special occassion' thing.

Not that there's any special occassion this Friday. Just that the weekend is then and that's always cause to celebrate!

I agree with you there! Man, that's was probably one of the smoothest smokes I ever had!

Its fairley easy to roll a decent smoking blunt like you did there.

The hard/skillful blunt is preparing and finishing the blunt. As long as you can roll a good joint, It wont be too hard to grasp the concept of a blunt, Though i tore many blunts in the beggining.

But the hardest part to get the grasp of is the preparing and finishing the roll. Its very hard to learn that on your own without any tips, Thats why many people get discouraged.

Being able to lick it right and get it to open right is a good sign, A good clean edge. After awhile you'll be able to do it with your fingernails. Ive been doing that latley, Since i havent been carrying knifes on me on the roll latley.

Good job, And continue the legacy. 8) (Y)

Edit: Also the tucking concept is hard for people to grasp at the begining.

Its nearly impossible for a blunt to tuck on itself like a joint would. And jus folding the blunt will make a sloppy blunt. Some will smoke decent when you do that, And roll it back and forth awhile to get it nice and tight, Otherwise its real loose at the first roll which fucks it up.

Its hard for new B-Rollers to learn to use both they're index fingers to tuck the blunt in and using both middle fingers to help roll it like that to get it started, Then roll the blunt up. Thats a very good tip right there, I know people smokin blunts for awhile and dont do that. That changes a decent blunt to a perfect blunt. It helps it so much.
