Natural Born Killers
Yeah um.. that one that spawned all those copycat crimes. It is a messed up movie.
I also want to mention the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo DeCaprio. Most of it is normal, but near the end it gets pretty messed up. There are some scenes I think were meant to screw with you (Shark telling Richard to enjoy his dinner, to name one).

I prefer NBK over The Beach. The Beach was really good, but I must have watched NBK at least 50 times.
Rodney Dangerfield played a really hilarious, yet dark part. I love some of his lines in the movie:
*while watching WWF* "What am I watchin' 'ere...two fuckin' FAGS?? KILL 'IM! KILL THE FUCKING INDIAN!"
*yelling at his wife* "What am I, the bad guy? If it wasn't for me you'd still be slinging hash at that shithouse and fuckin' your boss!"

natural born killers was wicked..a true out and out shockfest.
i was very dissapointed by 'the beach'.. i read alex garlands wonderful book(of the same title-- the base for the film) whilst travelling around india.
I related to so much of the characters thoughts/emotions, but the film, well whoever did the book>script crossver fucked up badly...
the main chap in 'the beach' was a brit(in the book), and his british nature was evident throughout the path he takes from start-finish of Garland's wicked words..
leonardo di caprio did a okay job but on the whole the film failed miserably to capture the spirit in which the book ws written and intended to be understood.
the story encapsulates the sense of adventure which comes from striking out from the world we know into not only different cultures but also secret cultures... the idea of a self sufficient communiy ona deserted tropical island is interesting, but the best aspects of the film, the beach, are the visuals and the soundtrack.. the rest is shit...
if anyone has read the book, then check out 'tesseract' another good garland read, and he has probably written a few more interesting pieces by now.. ill have to check him out...
