Cannabis' effects on REM sleep.
Im currently doing a degree course in psychology in university, and this struck me as a very good topic for my research. A lot of psychologists know the average REM and short wave sleep a night scenario, so why not see what different toxins do to this cycle.
Before i look too much into it, i wonder if any of you guys have information or experience?
Do you feel more refreshed and alert the next day after youve fallen asleep stoned? Do you find it hard to wake up if youve set your alarm or something? Anyting...thanks fellas.

Yeah haha the good ol' weed hangover lol
You can just feel so damn slow after heavy tokage the night before you wake up. I hate getting up too.
But weed deffinitely makes it easier to fall asleep.
Peace~

You can consider a very hard time gettin outta bed as a bad thing, but try to look at it on the positive site, if you toke up heavily the night before, you'll have a very nice time chilling in bed the next morning. :>
If you look at all things this way weed is a wonderful thing (not like its a bad thing, but it makes me feeling better when im high).

Last night was the first night i didnt have ajont for in a coupel f months. on top o this I have beensmoking through the early hours till about 6am or later playing vice city with my lady(she does a few missions here and there and is a excellent co driver!). anyway last nigth i wanted to sleep at 3am, but it was impossible, like seriously impossible to sleeeeeep.
this happens every time i have a mini break from the weed, liek anight. im not saying it continues, after a few days of it(if i dotn pick up which isvery unsual)i can kinda just get up earlier and try make myself tired enough to sleeep without the herb.
neway lots of people have said to me that weed stops you dreaming, whic i know to be alie cos i stil dream. i have come t the conclusion that weed affects more strongly our short term memory, so when we wake up it is much much harder to remeber te dreams unless we woke p whilst still i them
my other theory is that weed forms a conenction to a different place that our subconcious adores and revels in. the dreams i think stay in the subconcious and this could be where the deja vu game comes from perhaps.like this place our subconcious goes to is not confined to present time, more like a dimension without past prsent and future perhaps.

its not that i dont dream i just cant remember and i like your theory about the subconscious. before i ever smoked bud i always assumed that there was a link between dreaming and deja vuweedguru_animal wrote: neway lots of people have said to me that weed stops you dreaming, whic i know to be alie cos i stil dream. i have come t the conclusion that weed affects more strongly our short term memory, so when we wake up it is much much harder to remeber te dreams unless we woke p whilst still i them
