auto rolling machine

i just bought an auto rolling box and i dont really know how to use it. I asked the guy and he gave me shitty instructions and when i did what he said it didn't work. Can anyone help me?

1) you open it up
2) fill it with weed until you get the desired amount enought for a nice j
3) close it and give it a few rolls before putting the paper in
4) put the paper in through the top slit with the gum facing you

then start rolling it with your thumbs and before the whole paper goes in lick the gum and then finish rolling it

then open it up and there you go, you have a perfect j
