ok, I feel inspried now.. an outdoor question :)

Down here we have a lot of sucess with outdoor. I myself live near sand dunes that back onto a swampy, marshy wetland, which is all located by the seaside (without dropping my suburbs name)

People in my area have been successful in growing in the wetside of the sand dunes as there is some minor moisture within the sand. Planting at the right time is cruicial (Aug- Sept- springtime), although your time to plant would be different to ours.
Some people will tell you thats its impossible to grow in those conditiond/ enviroment, bullshit, you can so long as you get to them a couple of times a week to check if they need any nutrients etc etc.
As for 4 seeds only.. well its kinda pot luck if they sprout, although if it does, give yourself a pat on the back, just choose good seeds, otherwise use the seeds you have for practice.

Mate of mine used to do the indoor, then outdoor thing with his plants.. he tended to have to care for them a whole lot more when he did this, although they smoked up pretty good.
