Newbie Question
This will probably sound stupid to most if not all of you, but what can I say, I'm sure at one point you didn't know either (like before you left the womb at least) BUT.. after reading the mary jane basics on this site, Im still confused when it comes to the different kinds...how it talks about solid and skunk and all that, are these various forms of hash and then weed is just the buds of the plant? Would like to understand better.

solid is a term used for hash. Skunk, white widow, norhtern lights and ans stuff are strains of weed. Different kinds.
The weed you smoke is from the 'bud' of the plant. It's the green leafy like stuff. Hash, is made from the resin in weed. Resin is what contains THC and gets you stoned. It is stronger than weed, because it is concentrated. Hash is brownish in color, and is solid. It's kinda like real hard chewing gum, only it's not stretchy, it'll flake or crumble when you pick at it.
