well I was at my friends graduation party last night, I was minimizing the driving I had to do because I just got my license on friday and I never believed in driving drunk (stoned yes though)

but when it was time to crash, I drove everybody (pretty well) to my friends house and we all feel asleep in the back

but I woke up and it was really fuckin hot in that room so I got in my car and blasted the AC for a couple minutes then turned my car off and leaned back, and fell asleep again

and then the next thing I remember I'm half-my-hood deep into a tree half a mile down the street

a random cop car happens to pull up about 4 seconds after the crash

I forgot my weed was in my pocket so I didnt make an attempt to hide it

AND he pulls it out of my pocket before I even have a chance to do shit

so I'm 16, had my license 2 days, and now I'm facing failure to control vehicle citation and possession. How fucked am I? I'm guessing suspended license, probation, and fines, but to what extent. I only had a dime of schwag, meaning like 6-7g

Ah, I am in Texas as well, and it's definitely one of the worst states to be busted in.

However you are a minor, and a first-time offender I'm guessing, so I would assume you'll have probation. Probably drug tests for a while, so don't plan on smoking much. And you won't have a driving license for like 6-12 months, not too sure. It looks sketchy now, you'll find out what kind of shit you're in soon enough. Just remember that it won't last forever and that you'll be able to drive/smoke again, just not for a while.

yea that's probably about right with what ikku said but if you want to try to get a smaller sentence then try to get a lawyer to have him try to reduce the penalties.

I think he was so high that he forgot that he was high so therefore he was high but w/o knowing it he had a loss of driving schools magically and then crashed

No, I'm pretty sure that the cop was within his legal powers when he found your shit, you were just involved in a crash that definitely looked like you were under the influence of something, the whole situation seems like probable cause.
