Addictivness!

GRRR!!! :evil: everyone makes me so angry... yes i know marijuana has not yet been proven addictive.. what a lie! you cant say that... just look at some of its users... if it wasnt addictive then there wouldnt be programs for people to get off of it... it may not be physically addictive but mentally YES it is! It makes me really angry when people say no its not addictive scientists say its not... my friends say that all the time... then they will be like u should just stop cuz its stupid and i say i cant and they just throw that at me... whats everyones opinion on this? :idea:

I reckon its physically adn mentally addictive, even though it might just be a mental thang, Apparantly it takes 3 days for nicotine to completely get out of your system and its only the mental addictiveness that makes it hard to give up.

Marijuana is blatanly addictive. How many times have you been dieing for a spliff

i voted bothe mentally and physically.. but im not quite sure what possessed me to do that. i actually thinkn its just mentally.. but i have no basis for that so its most probably bullshit or luck if im right.

or maybe its different for different people

I think its only mentally addicting, because physically addicting things like heroin, can make you sick if you just quit them all the sudden. I could quit marijuana right now, and I wouldn't get sick or anything. I might just be a little cranky for a while. To be physically addicting your body has to need it.

People that get addicted to weed are:

a) Mentally weak people.
b) People who put more tobacco then weed in their spliffs and get addicted to the tobacco. I know this one dude that you can give a joint with just tobacco and he wouldn't know the difference.
c) Jamaicans. Just kidding.

I'm stuck in pennsylvania for the summer without a dealer. so far i've gone 2 months with no weed and still have about 40 days left. i thought that like most other addictions that when i went cold turkey it'd be hell for a week or 2 then be no big deal. i was so wrong. after the first 2 weeks i wanted some weed but it was no big deal. it's gotten worse every day. now after 2 months i feel like going from door to door and asking if anyone is selling weed (wouldn't really be that dumb but you get the idea). i can't wait till i get back to vegas so i can smoke a bigass blunt with my buddies.

weed is probably just mentally addictive, i mean its just the highs that i want, if i get pissed or sumtin i'll smoke a bowl an everythin'll be fine for 3 or 4 hours, jus pure fun, kinda like goin on a roller coaster or sumtin(cept without the gettin sick part), u dont wanna go coz ur physically hooked on it, you go because of the experience, i know its a crappy example but it kinda puts my point across

hmm....I dont believe its physically addictive considering its not replacing chemicals the body needs, but, it is very mentally addictive. Not Weed itself, but the high u get from it.
