NOTHING was won, other than contracts for the same companies connected to the group who put Obama into the Shite House. The collatarel damage of this 'liberation' is a country fucked up beyond all recognition of its former status under Saddam...which wasn't as bad as we, as westerners were led to believe. They had a health care and education system which ranked as one of the most advanced in the region...and now???

I make no effort to present myself as objective. What feeling and thinking creature can ever possibly do so?

A 'war' has not ended, if you invade, then leave it a million times worse off than when you invaded.

Obama is a horrible president... yes. It's hilariously funny because I remember when he was first getting elected, EVERYONE on this site was saying how awesome of a president he was going to be, and how much good he is going to do. So far, he's taking credit where it isn't due, passing bills under our noses that are so big that it can change the future of America, took away some of our freedom, along with wanting to CHANGE our country based on what it was founded upon?

I agree with zero though, at LEAST everyone FINALLY got brought back home...albeit almost a decade later than it should have, but it's better than nothing.

Agreed. I was one of the people who thought he may be a good president, but he has since proven me wrong.

However, i would also welcome the troops back. It's better that they are out of there, though they never should have been there in the first place.

exactly... our popular nation didn't want them there at all either ESPECIALLY once we learned about the truth of everything. The people who wanted them there was the rich and powerful and ignorantly uninformed.

He won the elections because every other candidate SUCKED just as much if not worse by either being a complete idiot or a power crazed republican (no offense to republicans, I actually am one, but would rather have the government members replaced before they got more power). Oh, also because he was black...actually not black, but half black. The majority of the white people who voted for him, were fine with it because he wasn't fully black and thought it'd be a good gradual transition for the first 'black' president as he was the best looking one in the polls. He's amazing at public speeches and knew how to present himself (along with getting weed smoker supporters by 'wanting to decriminalize weed'...remember that smokers? He said that to get weed smokers' votes while doing the exact opposite in office). There are so many black people in our country that PURELY voted on him because he was the first potential black president and wanted to make a point. Obama won some 95% votes on inner city's almost purely on the color of his skin.

Its great that no more american soldiers will be wasting their lives fighting an illegal war (at least in Iraq), lining the pockets of Obama's buddies and minders. It just bothers me, more than amuses me, to see him and hear him speak with such pride, such dignity, milk the appluase on such a special day, when he is nothing but a deceitful pigfucker, raping the american people, lying to the world, and making good on very very few of the main promises he made in his journey to power.

The major problem I have with his speech, and his earlier words of declaring the war was over, is that they give the impression of a job well done. When the truth of the matter is that the US with the help from the brits, lied to the world about their reasons for invading, not liberating, destroyed the infrastructure of the country, made millions for their pals who went in to help with the 'reconstruction' effort and security effort, disbanded the iraqi arrmy (US decision, advised against hugely by the brits) which anyone with any sense realized would lead to hundreds of thousands of well armed, well trained soldiers joining and forming militias, then slaughtering each other and their innocent enemies at astonishing rates...thats my problem with Obama. Its not in his interests, or the interests of the men who own and run him, but if he told the story truthfully, that would do more good for the US, in the eyes of the rest of the world, than any more of these insulting fucking lies.

I have kept out of american politics for a while...politics in general really...and my first proper step back in recently led to Mit Romney talking of America as the undisputed leader of the world, suggesting that if elected he would increase military spending as the world simply cannot function without the US having the capability to exert its military might over all other nations...hohohooho. Lets hope he gets in eh? Seems like a pleasant sort. Also very clued up economically, for he made zero mention in the same speech, of where he would find these increased funds for his military backers and owners, or of how he plans to remedy the US debt that is sure to make furture generations for many decades, suffer a worse standard of living than their parents...

No sugar there isn't. It takes money to be in politics and there are two ways to acquire money, be born into it or you must be required to represent interest groups who fund you. Which means you work for them and not the common man. Politics are fucked in this country. I can't believe we put this kind of president in office, taking away all our safety by promising to veto the amendment to the NDAA which promises to lock up American citizens citizens assosciated with terrorism in military prison indefinetly , killing virtually all Al-Qaeda leaders through drone strikes and special forces rather than entire invasion! Who is going to keep them pesky sand *censor* towelheads in check if we don't have all our troops in their countries! What we need is another one of those good ol Republican leaders, the one that takes away all regulations so BP can save half a mil and skimp out on an oil rig test and maintain huge profit margins, and doesn't put in pesky regulations preventing our God Blessed banks from giving out risky loans! The one that know's our military and veterans are the most important thing in this country, nevermind trying to decrease the deficit through huge reductions in military spending, we need those soldiers for our defense! We need those military industries! We need the kind of president that likes to spend so much of the government's money while decreasing taxes! And taxes! God damn those taxes that insure we have enough money in our budget to not go further into debt! Can't believe that Obama for wanting to close the wealth gap, save the middle class, and make sure 55% of the wealth isn't controlled by 5% of the richest people! THEY EARNED THAT MONEY YA HEAR, THIS IS AMERICA! We have the FREEDOM to own a disproportionate amount of wealth, so long as you were in an oppurtune time and place the get the money when it WAS going around! I'm gonna vote for Ron Paul cause he is going to legalize the ganj and that's all that matters! What's that? His economic and social policies are extremely regressive and he is going to usher in total chaos because of them? BULLSHIT! RON PAUL REVOLUTION! THE FOREFATHERS WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG!
