could someone please explain exacly how a bong works

i'v been wanting to make a bong for a while now, but i just don't understand how exacly they work

wot i mean is that if the pipe is under water then i wouldn't hav thought u'd be able to get any suction on the weed and it would just burn off on the outside of the bong

could someone please explain exacly how a bong works[/code]

when you suck in, your sucking air through the downpipe which makes bubbles in the water. whilst burning weed it will make smoke filled bubbles therefor cooling the smoke down with the temperature of the water.

imagine as if you had a lungful of smoke and exhaled through a straw into a glass of water... it will make smoke bubbles then release into the air (or chamber) if that helps it make more sese

well the pipe is under water, and you have a trigegr on the side, have that down n suck it sucks the smoke thru the pipe cools it down in the water, then its all in the chamber, release the trigger at the end of the pull to get all the smoke out quicker, walla!

how does a gravity bong work? I thought a bong was where you use water to filter weed instead of a roach. That sounds like your using gravity to filter it or something like that

a gravity bong uses gravity to pull smoke from the bowl into ur bottle.. i think there is a diagram on how it works somewhere on the site..

yea lungy bong heh or a waterfall bong is fun

get a 2ltr bottle and fill it with water put a hole in the bottom and have your finger on it, put your bowl on top and light up your bong, whenits lit, releasde your finger at the bottom, should if made correctly suck down smoke and when the water is all gone, take off the bowl n suck the msoke out the fuckin` top wo0 !
