Am i wasting my time

Ive been smoking weed for about 7/8 years now (5 on a daily basis) and am sick of paying for it so recently (christmas) had some nice weed and got a few seed out of it do i thought fuck it and planted a few, they failed..........

So anyways i through my last seed into a pot and left it on the windowsil in my hse, (in the uk at this time of yr the weather is shit, infact its shit all year but at the mome its really shit) and to my amaze 4 days later ive got the coolest little plant growning and id not even watered the fucker.

So 2 weeks (ive just transfered it to a bigger pot) on and due to the fact im out of work managed to get my hands on a couple of shitty lights 25w each (lthey were used for snakes) and ive been putting the plants under them 4 18 hrs a day and there shooting up like a prick on IGNORAMOUS. Will the lack of a decent light mean that the thc levels in my plant means is just gonna be bad weed or is it worth me continuing growning and see how it goes. The only thing i dont get is who its got this far, it looks fucking sweet and is growing well fast but how the fucks it got this far from sitting in a gloomy rainy window for a week.

Should i just throw the plant in the bin now and stick to buying until i get a decent light??????????????????????

are the lights florecent?
if they are i guess if it is growing that they would work for now but when they gett bigger your are going to want some higher watteage bulbs(if they are just more florecent get the ones made for plants or blue for growing and red for vegging stage).If you are only putting them under the light 4 18 hrs a day and its only 50w total you should just turn the lights on 24/7. as for the thc i think that it mainly comes form the nutrients in the soil its in if you want good thc you should have good amounts of nitrogen and potassium in it but too much will fry the roots and kill the plant. hope this helps

yep they are flu lights so i'll keep going for now, hopefull pick up some decent light soon

You could probably stick them outside now as the light cycles are changing again. days are getting longer. Outdoor season here we come!!
