Im planning on starting to grow, hopefully in a couple of months.
Im limited to around a 3x3x3 foot box that will be put in a small attic space. Im gettin a 400watt HPS light, I want to grow with a Hydrophonics system, but have no idea which one to get. Need some experienced growers to comment on if this would work or not.
I also wanna how much plants i can fit in that space and aproximately how much the whole thing would yeild.
Also about how long it takes to grow.
Oh yea one more thing, if the light will have an exhaust fan, and i get another axhaust fan(both leading outside), will that create a good temp. for the plants, and get the smell out?
New attic grow room.

Youre not going to have a lot of headroom with that space. Bear in mind that your hydro setup is going to be at the very least 6"- 8" tall and the light ( you could take the shade off for a little more room) will be roughly the same with the shade on. Stick to pure indica varieties if you can because a sativa will outgrow your room in flowering (certain indica/sativa crosses will also). Youll need to flower an indica at around 6" which means that youll need to keep temps even to keep the nodes tight as possible. (temp fluctuations of over 5-10C will cause stretch)
Your setup will determine how many plants you can get in there. If its nft then youll probably only get 2-6 plants in there, again depending on the size of the reservoir. They will bush out when flowering. If its soil youre doing you will be able to train them and possibly fit up to 9 plants in there depending on pot size.
